Turn the AC on in your new home:
The last thing you want on your moving day is to arrive at an unbearably hot home. We recommend turning your utilities on before the big moving day to avoid this situation. If you live nearby and can switch on the air conditioning the day before the move, then do so. Cooling down your new home beforehand will make moving into the home more comfortable for you and the movers you hire. If you’re moving long-distance, switch the AC on once you arrive at the new home.
