Take the shades off, put as many shades as you can in one box, mark them “Top load lampshades,” pack the lamp bases in packing paper and put in a medium or large box.
Do we need to have our beds disassembled?
If you want to disassemble them beforehand, it will save you money. If not, we have the proper tools to take the beds apart and reassemble them.
Will you disconnect our washer and dryer?
Yes, we will disconnect the washer and dryer and put the packing rods in the washer. Due to insurance reasons, Advanced Moving will not connect them.
Do we need to empty our freezer?
If the move is just a short distance, we load the freezer up last, and that means it is unloaded first at the new house. Resulting in a shorter period of time in which the food may defrost and spoil.
What payment methods are accepted?

How far in advance should I schedule my move?
We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. We suggest scheduling your move at least 3 weeks in advance. The beginning and end of the month are the busiest times to schedule a move. If you have to move for a certain day, we suggest contacting us as soon as possible.
How will you transport my belongings?
Advanced Moving has 26’ straight trucks. All of our trucks are equipped with pads, dollies, straps, and tools for disassembling and reassembling your beds, decks, dining, etc.

Do I have to take the clothes out of my dresser?
No! On the day of your move, the staff will decide if the dresser can be moved with the drawers in place or if they need to be moved separately. If you have any fragile items in the drawers, you need to pack them to ensure them from breaking.
How do you protect our furniture?
We wrap all furniture in a moving pad once it is on our moving truck and make sure it is strapped down if needed. Our staff treat your furniture as if it was their own!
